Initial investigations including potholing are underway from 11 June, for approximately two weeks (weather permitting) in certain locations on both sides of Waddington Drive between Prouse Cres and Judd Cres.

The hours of work will be 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

While work areas will be fenced off, we will ensure that you always have access to your property unless a prior arrangement has been made. It is expected that our work will generate some construction noise at times, but we will do our best to keep this to a minimum.

On-street parking in the area alongside the worksite will be restricted, and we ask that you please not park your vehicle within the coned areas. This will help us complete the work as quickly as possible.

Why are we doing this?

In 2022 a project assessing the state of the network, the Three Waters Renewals Project, identified a number of pipes that have reached the end of their design life or have been given a low condition grade.

The renewal of these pipes is being fast-tracked.

This is part of our ongoing work to improve the delivery of safe drinking water to homes and businesses,  and to reduce the risk of emergency repairs and/or outages and minimise risks to public health and the environment.
