At times, this work may cause an inconvenience to residents, but we'll do what we can to minimise disruption. Our crew is committed to completing work safely, and on time.
Renewing pipes is key to preventing leaks in the first place. This keeps repair costs down, and reduces those frustrating outages.
Here are the key numbers from the works completed to date:
-
4.4km of pipes renewed
-
273 renewed customer connections
-
118,000 litres of water estimated to be saved every day
This work has been done primarily using trenchless technology. Trenchless technology basically means exactly that – we don’t have to dig up a trench to install new pipes. This reduces disruption, waste and carbon emissions.
