Colin Crampton, Chief Executive

Colin is responsible for Wellington Water's overall leadership and management, as well as the business's performance and service delivery for its clients. He is also responsible for progress towards the company's strategic goals, which are set with the management team and Board of Directors.

As the leader of Wellington Water's team of 140 full-time-equivalent employees, staff welfare and personal development are also among Colin's top priorities.

Colin was appointed to the role of chief executive of Capacity Infrastructure Services in November 2013. Prior to joining Capacity, he was the Group Manager, Highways and Network Operations, at the New Zealand Transport Agency, where he had worked for 20 years.

Jetesh Bhula, Group Manager Network Development & Delivery

Jetesh is responsible for the investigation, design and delivery of our three year rolling work programme that delivers fit for purpose three waters infrastructure solutions for our client councils.

Jetesh is a professional engineer with over 19 years’ experience in the three waters sector. Prior to working in the three waters sector, he worked in the roading sector.

Mark Kinvig, Group Manager Network Strategy & Planning

Mark is responsible for the development and implementation of the regional three waters strategy and policy advice, ensures that asset management planning meets the needs of our client councils and manages the Information Directorate for Wellington Water.

Mark has over 20 years of experience in public sector infrastructure management in the UK and NZ.

Prior to joining Wellington Water in January 2015, he worked for the NZ Transport Agency initially as the State Highway Manager, Napier and then as a Business Improvement Manager in the Highways and Network Operations Group. Mark led the state highway maintenance and operations transformation project which was established in response to Government’s funding policy on road maintenance.

Chris Mathews, Group Manager Business Services

Chris is responsible for the provision of organisational thought leadership, support and services for Wellington Water.

The Business Services Group manages Business Planning, IT, People & Capability, Risk & Assurance, Community Engagement & Communications.

Prior to joining Wellington Water in February 2015, Chris held strategic, transformational and programme management positions in private and public sector service providers within Australia and New Zealand, including Contact Energy, Optus, RailCorp and Sydney Water. Most recently at Sydney Water, he held the positions of Transformation Programme Manager and Business Improvement Project Office Manager.

Gary O'Meara, Group Manager Network & Customer Operations

Gary is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the three waters network and treatment facilities for water and wastewater and ensures the 3 waters service delivery meets the needs of our client councils and stakeholders.  His team is the first point of contact in responding to client and customer requests.

Gary has over 35 years' experience in water services asset management, operations, design and contract/project management, most of it in the Wellington region. In addition, Gary also heads the water services emergency management response team for the Wellington region.

Jo Bryan, Principal Advisor

Jo is responsible for providing advice to the Chief Executive and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) which involves the Statement of Intent, strategy map, business development and stakeholder engagement (i.e. National Infrastructure Unit of Treasury, Water New Zealand). She also attends the Wellington Water Committee meeting and meets regularly with Infrastructure Managers. She has an affiliation with the Network Strategy and Planning Team within the company.

Jo has 22 years experience in strategy, planning and performance in both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining Wellington Water in February 2015, Jo was Principal Advisor (Strategic Performance) at the Ministry of Justice and has held senior roles at New Zealand Police (Acting Manager Business Planning) and at the Ministry of Health (Manager Planning and Performance).

Audrey Scheurich, Chief Financial Officer

Audrey is responsible for the provision of strategic financial and procurement advice, support and services for Wellington Water.

Prior to joining Wellington Water in February 2015, she worked for Genesis Energy as General Manager Finance.
